Mr. Poydras (2020)

Written by Tanya and John Voorhees, sung by Tanya Voorhees. The lament of a young resident of the “Poydras Girls Asylum”, an orphanage built for children abandoned by a 1905 epidemic of Yellow Fever.  Inspired by Tanya’s mother, a real-life resident. The Boy from New Orleans (2020)
